We aim to bring exceptional restaurant food directly to your door, combining traditional Italian methods with modern innovation to create mouth-watering flavours. We are not only passionate about creating delicious food, but we pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service, constantly striving to give our customers the best experience which will not only meet the highest of expectations, but exceed them. To help us to achieve this, we pay attention to detail in every stage of the process.
Our speciality dough is made daily and is hand stretched and left to mature for at least 72 hours, not only to ensure the best flavour but to also improve digestion. It is created using flour derived only from genuine Italian wheats.
Our sauce is also made fresh daily using the finest San Marzano tomatoes, known for their ‘meatier’ flesh, their historical roots can be traced right back to 1770, when it is believed the first seeds were grown in volcanic soil under the shadow of Mount Vesuvius. Much less acidic than most other varieties, they give both a sweet and sour taste on the palate.
A sublime mozzarella made from cows’ milk, Fior di latte has superb elasticity giving a smooth yet tangy flavour, which in our opinion is the perfect choice on which to base any ingredients.
Wood fired oven
Zizzona offers an authentic, home-cooked Italian experience. Come on in and watch Chef Marco prepare your fresh pizza, then savour the smell as it rises and sizzles in our authentic wood-fired oven. Imported from Italy and installed by master craftsmen, our traditional mosaic tiled oven is what gives our pizzas that extra special Zizzona zing.
